Could you be more specific?

Thank you so much for replying.
I have a hp pavillion g6. I install the emulator and when i click on the file i see the amd opening screen, fine. Once i click on load games and pick from the list, and the screen gets fadded and i get a box sayin" a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available".
I even downloaded directx 9 and the visual +++ , just not sure the right one.
Buddy, i beg for your help, i want this so bad, its not even funny, and i think the pavvilion g6 bought in 2011 is powerfull enough. I stayed almost all night trying this so, i would thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping. Please let me know any questions you have, and thanks again for working with me.

Try launching a game from the command line and see if it works.

It might be that your video card or built-in video does not support pixel shader 2.
If so, there's nothing you can do about it except get a newer video card.

Almost everything you wanted to know about Model 2 Emulator can be found here:
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,131527.0.html

Quote
*Requires Pixel Shader 2.0 compliance for proper emulation.  Minimum cards are as follows:
ATi:Radeon 9500 or newer. nVidia:GeForce FX series, 6 series, or newer.

Quick google search says it supports 5.0, so you're good there.

Before launching a game, make sure autofullscreen isn't checked.
Sometimes the graphics settings will make it crash in fullscreen, but it will be ok windowed.
If it works windowed, then you've narrowed it down a bit more.

For good measure, install both runtimes listed on this page:

I am on windowed mode so iam not full screen. Onçe i load the game it just goes to the windows message "emulator_multicpu.exe has stopped working" and i have to close it. When i installed i got a message saying that a script file could not be encrypted, or something like that. I just dont know what to do , i am getting so close, once i saw the amd screen i got happy but then this. I want this to work so much!!

Oh my god man it works! Bad mouth god bless you for the rest of your life! I just got house of dead to try, and it loads man, i am almost crying. I am gonna hook it up to the tv with a 360 controller, is the controler set up pretty simple? I think i saw in the options that you can just select the 360 controller right away. Does the ps3 controller works? I am gonna get drunk to celebrate and try to get a few games, and i will be back later. Thank you to everybody that replied to me, no words to express my gratitude , !!!!!

Controllers don't work with the gun games, at least not easily.
Use the mouse.

Controllers can be made to work in the gun games with Troubleshooter 2,
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,130784.msg1339402.html#msg1339402
but you should get to know your way around the emulator before moving onto that.

The controller will work fine with all the other games.

Absolutely, i am happing just to stare at the intros of these games , i can just stare the whole day man. Butneventually, i think , and i do not mind, you have to run the game, and then inside the game go to some options and change it right? But i did get to play house of dead what a feeling. Without abusing your kindness, any quick tips to improve the image? Iam gonna take my time learning about the emulator, no rush!!

you have to run the game, and then inside the game go to some options and change it right?

To remap the controls, run the game windowed and click on the game tab, then configure controls.
There is nothing that I can tell you that isn't already covered in the Model 2 setup guide linked to earlier.

any controller will work if it works in windows.
You just open the button config screen and map the buttons.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Thank you agin to all. My last question, the graphics look a little pixalated, not as crispy as i see in videos, is there any graphical settings that i should change to look better? Increase resolution would work? Thank you all again!
