Mala and mame extras in one zip per rom question?
« on: August 09, 2013, 12:46:45 am »
I have two questions;

First off I'm using an old version of mala because I have it setup the way I want (1.058), if I upgrade to the latest what issues might I run into? I'm using ledblinky, and videos from for each rom from emumovies(?)

I'm using the latest version of mame and I have downloaded the mame extras which have the bezel, artwork, marquee, and control pics in one zip file, mala only appears to recognize the artwork files. Are there any options or does each file need to go in its own folder (ie all bezels go in the bezel folder = gamename.png)?

Never mind, I was just being dumb. Some zips had two files in them but the other files were in it's own folde which I didn't bother checking:o

What about the upgrade question?

What about the upgrade question?

Hi ivwshane!
   why donīt you try to make a copy of your Mala directory as a backup and then update to the latest beta version?
   If you found any kind of problem/errors after upgrading you can always restore your backed up version.
