Happs 3" Trac Ball Bolts?
« on: November 15, 2003, 05:44:37 am »
I have purchased a Track Ball and mounting plate from Happs UK. Which all fits into my cp with no problems...

They did not send me the mounting bolts that hold the track ball to the mounting plate. Does anyone know what size/dimentions they are? As I need 4 to finnish my cp, it looks a little odd with a hole in the middle...

Cheers...

I haven't found any also.

I'm currently using a few bolts I got with a wall fixing kit (with the wing things that click open after they get past the drywall/whatever).  They are the right size / threading to use the same nuts as all the other components...

but they aren't carriage bolts...

neither Home Depot or Lowes carry carriage bolts that thin and long..

I would love to find a source myself

I'm pretty sure they are 10-24 Carriage Bolts, as that is the spec on the nuts that fit them.  Hope this helps.

I have the Happ 3" high mount trackball and here is one of the bolts that holds the trackball to the mounting plate.

I can probably hook you up with the right bolts, just drop me a PM.

I finally got around to opening my trackball and mounting kit from Happs UK yesterday, and there was a little packet with bolts / washers / nuts etc in it.

When I previously ordered something from Happs and something was missing, they were very quick to send me the missing parts -- have you spoken to them about the missing fixing kit ?
