hey, new here and needing help, i have made most of my mame table but i need to order my buttons, but have no idea how many i need, i only want to play the old arcade games so i know i wont need many, could anyone help me with how many buttons i need, thankyou

They're cheap enough so why not just order more than you will need? You may need to replace a micro-switch down the line (having parts is good). Also having a box hanging around with extra buttons is a great start to a second project.  :applaud:

You have to decide what games you want to play.  And how many players. If you want to play fighting games, then you will need 6 buttons for each player... if not, then I'd probably go with four. You will also need a start button and coin button for each player. I'd also want an exit button and pause button.
