FS: Various video converters (Cincinnati, OH)
« on: July 20, 2013, 06:11:26 am »
I'm unloading some video converters that I've bought and tested.  All of these work, I'm just not going to use them anytime soon and I want some extra $$$ to pre-order a PS4.

SOLD   Arcade RGB to video converter:  It has 2 arcade inputs and will convert the signal to either NTSC composite or NTSC s-video.  I used this as a part of my testing equipment and it worked well for the games I tested.  Included are the 2 different input cables so you can connect your video wires to the board and the power supply wire is supplied.

SOLD Audio Authority 9A60 VGA to Component Transcoder:  This is especially helpful to mame users...groovymame user in particular.  This converts the RGBHV signal to YPbPr , making it possible to output your video to a larger screen such as a crt tube tv.  It works, but the power cable had been modified.  The 9A60 uses a different psu....center negative polarity.  The seller I bought it from in "working" condition provided a center positive psu, so I had to modify the psu cable.  This does not affect the performance of this unit.  [

RCA VHDC300: This does the same thing as the AA 9A60, but not quite as well.  It works, but it works like others have described.  By default the pic is shifted to one side.  If you have enough adjustments on your tv set you can center the picture.  This was designed to work with a RCA DTC-100 but others have used it in mame cabinets...I believe a couple of members here have made use of this item.  I would suppose maybe a different pot or a different value capacitor inside the case may change the way it operates.  I'm not that motivated to do any mods to it and with all my other converters I have this now sits on the shelf. $20 shipped

SOLD Arcade RGB to component (yuv):  This device is used to covert arcade video signals to be used on tvs/monitors that have component (yuv) input.  This has several uses...it could be used to aid in the replacement of an arcade monitor, or used in a supergun build.  I bought this new, but haven't installed / tested this.
