Thanks for posting this.
I'm going to check it out right when I get home.

EDIT -  Sale ends when ? I'd like to get home and play with the trial version.
But if this can be controlled with my Adroid tablet I'd say I'm %100 getting this.

Perhaps I should ask (I'm at work and cant really look) - With Touchjams can I via my Andriod tablet control the program ? Does the music itself need to be stored on the tablet, or just anywhere on my network ?

It's a windows program much like Uncle T's you will need to use VNC or splashtop to use your android tablet to control it. The music will be on the PC the same as if you were still using Uncle T's.....  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Not true.  Although you can use VNC/SplashTop/Logmein/etc., TouchJams has a built in web server so that any device which has a browser can control TouchJams remotely.  Check here for more info: http://www.touchjams.com/default.asp?page=NetworkRC

As for the $9.95 price, that was a July 4th special price.  There's a Summer Sale going on right now for $24.95.  The non-sale price is $50.

I got it for the $9.99, well worth the money. Wish it supported betabrite and another monitor. I need to start a thread for my jukebox.

"Wish it supported betabrite and another monitor."

TouchJams does have 2nd monitor support.  The 2nd monitor can display advertisements, current song play info, video, or karaoke.  If you have TouchJams, simply look under the options, and there's a Configure Monitors menu and options.

As for the BetaBrite, I just went out to Adaptive's website to check it out, but didn't see any developer SDKs, not sure if you have to ask for them, pay for them, or what the deal is to code those signs.  Do you know if their shrink-wrap software offers any command line params?  That would be the easiest way to integrate with that sign.

Yes but either way for him to experience it on his tablet he will need a pc and have to remote to it. The means of doing that either by your web interface or by an android app as I have availble or by remote viewing the screen he will still need a PC with his music stored on it. This is the same question he keeps asking and somehow not quite understanding the answer.

i use logmein from my juke to ipad as a remote control , i tried the online remote and preferred logmein

24 bucks is still a bargain , 50 has been the price since it started so good too get some more users and show this software some support so it continues to improve.

imo its the best software out there at the moment with good support , if you send and email with any questions to bob he will reply , ive been emailing him for a few years now with thoughts and comments and questions.

anyone here got anything the want to see in juke software ?

yes question has been answered , store your music on computer , remote control it via logmein or similar on android or ipad   or use the web remote to control the software , personaly as i mentioned i love the ipad remote option so the screen is exactly as on the computer

Thanks all for the info.
I think I'll DL the trial and give it a shot.
I'd like to control this via Android tablet, so I really wanna see how that looks/feels.
I'd for sure need to create my own skin for this.

I was having lots of problems finding programs that would work the way I'd like them to work.
I think I read too much info and did get rather confused.
Storing my music on a dedicated PC and controlling with the tablet is my ideal.
Not to mention I have 4 ELO 17" CRT touchscreen monitors not being used !

Working on a skin for all users.
I'm %90 done (I think!).
I just need to tweak some fonts and colors.

Working on a skin for all users.
I'm %90 done (I think!).
I just need to tweak some fonts and colors.

i like it a lot , a very nice skin , would you be able to make a four album view as well , i like having both options , for a big party i like 12 album view when i have a few guys around just playing pool etc i like to be able too see what they are scrolling through from the pool table so i can say put that one one
i like when you push one of the main buttons they turn on instead of just showing the outline , it migtnt be your taste but if you want to look at my skin on the website under egosbar you will see what i mean , i havent done much too it for ages and yours is better but you will see what i mean when pushing the main buttons and the alphabet buttons , looks like your all over skinning i find it a little confusing at times but i got around it , id love to see the spectrum lights color changeable as well , skjuke you could make them any color which was great
im sure bob will love this one i think its the best one yet imo , how long you been working on it
not sure i like the pages view on the scroll bar it looks tocomputer like if you know what i mean
i have a party coming up next weekend for a 21st id love to be using this skin , if you finish in time can you email bob and get him too put it on the site so we can download it , again very well done , hope you do some more sometime
down the bottom where the white light streaks are the small next playing album sort of gets lost id tone the whites down a bit especially on the now playing screen  , maybe look at that as well
red for songs left lol , i can change that myself but if its already there all the better , hope bob puts number of songs left on main page as well would be good
do you have any suggestions that youd like to  be able to do that you cant while skinning or any suggestions for the software?

i also think the left side of the cd cover picture where it is grey needs to be darker by default , easily changeable in photoshop , im guessing you use photoshop a bit too?

I've been in touch with Bob and he asked that I make the skin available to all......IT WILL BE.
I've made some edits that are not reflected in the above sample.
I removed the pattern from the bottom of the page, so the only image is the speaker grill.
It's much cleaner and makes the buttons look better.

I'm not sure how long I've been working on this, it was a day of work. I'd say 5-7 hours ?
I like dark blue, so I did indeed skin over it.
I found that made for a quick (or as quick as I could be) solution.

I don't think I'll do a 4 album view. If anything I'd do another brand new skin.

Only thing that remains for me is to tweak the fonts and possible font colors.
I also want to see if I can modify the section on the far right, you can see the bottom arrows, one has a grey outline.
I'd like to remove that.

A few more hours and this should be %100

Also to answer the question, with this my 1st skin I wont modify it to make it look like button turns "on."
Again, next skin, perhaps. But for now I just want to understand how it works.
There are about 120 individual graphics in the skin. It's a ton to work on these.
