if i ever do a second build i will probably build a slim style 2 player C/Panel.
But for my first time building anything and only had jigsaw, cordless drill and a few hand tools(hammer, handsaw)etc etc
Im pretty happy with how it turned out, quite proud of myself actually.

thanks heaps to all the peeps here at BYOAC and hyperspin FE

cheers stavros

thanks mate, its quite the feeling of accomplishment, i see a lot of peeps build cabs then throw an x-arcade tankstick on it.......which is totally cool, but its quite a good feeling acually designing and buliding your own C/Panel from scratch

I understand the feeling of accomplishment, I'm not even done with mine yet and that is growing.  I was collecting parts slowly over the course of 3-4 years and I finally got the OK from the boss (wife) to buy everything else I needed and get started.  That was back in August.  I'm on track to be done for Thanksgiving (US) when we have family over.

I have seem many builds start on the forum and never finish due to a plethora of reasons, so it always makes me happy to see one that had taken a bit of finally get done.  When I see some of the members here crank out a machine in a few days I am simply amazed!

I wish I had the room for a full sized cab this beefy. They have such a presence. Hope you have a nice big place to display it.

ive got hyperspin setup 70 systems with around 50,000 plus games
Holy jeezuz.  :dizzy:  I spent a lot of time getting rid of games so that it was manageable and people wouldn't get lost trying to flip though thousands of games just to find zaxxon. Nice work on the cab though and that artwork pops!

yeah ive been told its too much and it probably is but i wanted to have like a museum libary of games and ive got favourites in hyperspin.........im also gonna set up gameex with just the essensials so like you say its more managable....plus gameex has a built in led software like ledblinky but its free 8)

and props to snaake on the artwork....... i told him i wanted marvel vs capcom theme a bit like the revoulution cab and snaake put his own little twist on it.........im hopeless with photoshop ,so if anyone needs help in that department, Snaake is your man and his prices are very reasonable

ill be selling this cab soon as I just don't have room for it....my next build will be a vewlix clone ..which I think look great ,very modern and don't take up a lot of space. And perhaps a Nintendo cab after that, Mario or DK.....love those cabinets... when I get a bigger place that is lol

anyway I just finished uploading a video for those future builders that are interested. The video goes full screen at 8.48
cheers
