2 rgb buttons into 1 pacled64 slot?
« on: June 21, 2013, 05:52:14 pm »
I have 22 rgb led buttons and 1 pacled64 board. 4 of the buttons are pinball flipper buttons (2 left side and 2 right side of the cp). Before I hack up my button cables is it possible to run 2 flipper buttons from 1 pacled64 slot or do I need to buy another board for 1 damn button ?

I'm aware that the flipper button leds will not operate independently of each other but that's a small price to pay compared to buying another board.

Just make them one color each.

I forgot to mention I also have single led player 1 & player 2 buttons too. I want these to flash on and enough when a coin is registered in mame. So 22 rgb buttons and 2 single led buttons. Welcome all advice on how to wire all of this up ???

This can only work on a hand full classic games like Galaga, Galaxian, and a few others.

Just make them one color each.

I think it may look odd when running attract mode.

Ah I didn't know that, thank you. Probably best just to wire those straight to the pc power so that they're permanently on then?
