Control issues/lag
« on: June 18, 2013, 01:57:21 pm »
Setting up controls on another pc, but if I hold down any key in a MAME game the game locks up temporarily.  Guess it's not a pause, cause it doesn't dim so it's more like the game is chugging, happened on every game I tried.  Thought it was maybe the iPac, but a wireless keyboard does the same.

Is this a hardware issue(the usb ports?) or OS(I went with win8 cause I had a free license from work) or some option in Mame(doubting, but no clue).

Any ideas?  Thanks

Seemed to have resolved it.  Using Hyperspin, I have a wheel for Cave using a different version of Mame and that was working ok.  The other version wasn't passing in the triple buffer option, so when I added that it seems to have fixed my issue.
