Need advice for hooking up TV to PC for my cab
« on: May 27, 2013, 03:03:14 pm »
Hello,

I have a Windows Vista PC, with an Nvidia 9800GT graphics card. The outputs are VGA and S-Video, and I am using a 32" Toshiba television, with S-Video, RCA, and RGB connectors on the back. Currently I have it hooked up through S-Video only. The question is, should I go ahead and find a way to convert the VGA output from the card to an RGB in the TV? Or should I just get a high end S-Video cable? Right now the graphics look good, but the text is somewhat blurred. Are there certain settings I should be attentive to either through Windows, Mame, or the TV? Thanks so much for your help.
