Best Golden Tee version
« on: May 05, 2013, 01:15:29 pm »
In a lot of these posts about what people play when they have friends over to use their cabinet, Golden Tee always comes up as a popular choice.  But there's about 200 versions of Golden Tee, so I'm curious.  Which version of Golden Tee is your favorite on a MAME cabinet -- which one do people fall back to playing the most?

97' 98' 99' 2K and Classic is all you need to have. The tournament editions are based off of a rom from the same year and the same courses with the addition of a modem.

good day.

I play '97, '98, '99, 2K and original 3D golf. None of them are really a favorite because they are all pretty much the exact same games, except for different courses. The graphics improve a tiny bit in each newer version but gameplay has never really changed.

Only thing I've always disliked about GT is the putting is too dang easy. But that's what makes it unique I guess.
