SoCal people....Captain's Auction tomorrow in Anaheim!
« on: May 03, 2013, 03:41:18 pm »
Took my 7-year old to his first one a few months ago, and after he didn't want to get out of a Star Wars Trilogy machine I promptly went back home and got Supermodel up and running on my cab. It's now his favorite game to play. Can't wait to see what he gravitates to this time. Anyone else go to these things?

I've almost made it about half a dozen times now.  Haven't been able to justify the trip from San Diego though.  Was always curious what most games actually sold for.  As a feeler, do you have any idea what an average Neo Geo 1 slot sells for at the "Captain's"?

Only been the once, and we didn't stay for the auction itself so I wouldn't know. I did inquire about a Fishtales pinball machine that a buddy was interested in, and called after the auction was over to see if it sold. It had, but they were very helpful so maybe you could just call them tomorrow to see if they have one in inventory and what they think it's worth.
