GroovyArcade is the Linux distribution including GroovyMame and AdvanceMenuPlus.
Ohhhhh. Riight. Well, why was AdvMENU picked for that? Just curious.....
Well, several things --
* The selection of good frontends for Linux is more limited.
* AdvMENUPlus has support for 15khz monitors built into it.
* AdvMENUPlus also has support inbuilt for the various emulators that are included in GroovyArcade.
* AdvMENUPlus generates ROMlists with a minimum of intervention -- i.e. none -- which is important for a distribution that can be booted or played from LiveCD in addition to from a hard disk. For example, Cabrio is a much slicker front end, but generating ROMlists for it is nontrivial.
