U360 problem -anyone seen this before?
« on: April 23, 2013, 11:32:48 pm »
So one of my u360s has a really hard time reaching the extents and the corners.  I had this problem when I first got them and thought that I had fixed it but. Now I'm second guessing myself.  It's my 2nd player controls and I always play first player but recently my son has beat me for alpha position.  I only can tell on analog games where the further the controller moves, the quicker your player moves.  An example would be Mario 64.  Mario can only walk slowly in the down positions instead of run.

Here's a video of it.  First the good stick and then the wonky one.  Does the exact same thing in the Ultimark software.  I'm making a circular motion on the joystick to hit all the corners.  Anyone else experience this?

It may have something to do with the restrictor-settings in:

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Ultimarc\UltraMap.ini

Just check if the settings for P1 and P2 are different. This affects the "throw" sensitivity.

I'll check that.  I did make sure in The umap utility that "no restrictor" was set.
