I have looked on WICO's site and Happs site...where the heck do you get a Robotron style leaf joystick?

another relatively dumb joystick question here from a n00b:

I'm building my control panel at the moment, yet the Happ ultimate Joysticks I received did not come with any screws/bolts to mount the joysticks to the panel.  Could anyone recommend a size/thread of screw suitable to mount it into 3/4" board?

What you want are Wico leaf switch sticks, with the long red handles. The short red handles are more common, but are not really suitable for wooden panels. If you have a metal panel then either one would be fine.

I have a pair of the long handled ones in my Amazing Maze, short handled ones in my Time Pilot and Kangaroo, and another half dozen of them (plus parts) in my parts box.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I usually use drywall screws. People who play rough will complain that they will tear out of MDF. I suppose.

A lot of guys use carriage bolts because the originals did it that way. I prefer not to have them mess up the clean lines of my panels.
