FS: Defender Project. St. Charles, MO $300
« on: April 05, 2013, 03:11:29 pm »
I need to make some quick cash to cover some pickups I have made.

Anyone itching to restore a Defender? I can get you most of the way there even if you are starting from nothing.

Here is what you get.

1 Defender cabinet painted black with the original power brick in the bottom and no back door.
1 Defender boardset working (only tested on bench for video).
1 Defender power supply (untested)
1 populated defender control panel in nice shape (I'll add a picture as soon as I find it).
1 Defender bezel.
1 Monitor pulled from the pile of ones I haven't looked at yet. (Will test when time allows).

$300 with untested monitor.

$275 if you want a monitor that I know doesn't work.
$325 with a working monitor.

The sideart is intact under the black paint, and I have had success with 3M safest stripper on Williams cabinets in the past.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.
