Hi Guys
I have found a local company who will CNC cut my MDF for the sides of my machine, other than the time involved cutting by hand, what are the benefits of CNC?

Really not much - figure a CNC is mainly useful if you are going to be mass producing them since the CNC provides precision and repeatability that you can not get by hand but for a single copy probably not worth the additional cost unless you are including some extensive design elements that would be hard to recreate by hand.

I assume it makes cutting curves easier and the edge is smoother?
