2 quick questions: joust and full screen
« on: November 08, 2003, 10:53:54 pm »
How do I get joust to start after it does the system tests?

is there a way to make games (like Joust) full-screen instead of having that software bezel around the screen?

Hit reset (F3) after the system tests are done and you will be good to go.  As for the bezel refer here:

Just exit MAME when it appears the tests are done and try playing the rom again.  That should have the same effect. BTW...this problem only happens the very first time you play the rom.

TalkingOctopus  - thanks. I fired the 3 diff Jousts up and had the same prob each time...but like you said, when I tried again, they worked.

That makes me feel better because Joust worked on my other cab...and I couldn't remember what I did to get it working  ;)
