Help me pick out power supply and processor/motherboard
« on: March 21, 2013, 08:36:45 pm »
How many watts would I need for a power supply? I plan on running the computer, an ipac, and led marquee lights from groovygamegear from the psu. I would like an Eco friendly approach if possible.

I plan on playing games like 19xx, sunset riders, mk, and tmnt. What video/processor do you guys recommend? Would an i3 be a good choice? When do you have enough room to grow, but didnt go overboard on a "PC"? I'm a Mac guy, so choices are usually much simpler.

Power required is dependent on MB and processor plus accessories.   Best to determine the MB before the PS. The games you listed can easily be played with a used $100 or free computer so you might not need a PS since they come with them.  So decide on what you want to play and do with your setup and let that determine the MB and PS.
