Hardware for 2013 Mame arcade cabinet
« on: March 18, 2013, 06:02:34 pm »
I'm in the process of converting an Arcade Cabinet and I aquired a E6750 processor, 1 gig ram, case , motherboard, power supply and 2 dvd-rom drives off of craigslist for $10.  It seems to be working well after I added a slow ide hard drive to it.

Question is how well does the E6750 work with the fighting games such as Killer Instinct and street fighter?

I am thinking of taking the ssd out of my file server and decommissioning it or moving some parts around.  It has an E5200 and 4 gigs of ram.

my old MAME rig was a P4 2.4 and it ran KI just fine. The old school Street Fighters don't need much CPU at all.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.
