4/8 Way Joysticks - alternatives
« on: March 07, 2013, 08:35:22 am »
Hi all:

I was looking at the Mag Stik 4/8 way stick, but upon further reading some say that it takes some getting used to, which is probably attributed to the magnetic mechanism it's based on.

I"m looking for other alternatives to 4/8 way joysticks, that will provide the same type of easy to swtich on the fly between the 2 modes.

Thanks

Nephasth

Installing a 4way stick right next to your 8way stick and letting both share the same buttons also works really well too.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

The mag-stick was a response to the actuation difficulty of the the T-stick. If they'd been around when I got my Ts, I woulda got the mags instead. But a serious question is Nephasth's.

I'm using JAMMA board, so my selection of a joystick is limited no?

Sorry for the newbie question.
