Has anyone one else had this problem and what did you do to fix it?
I finally get the right marquees from kinkos I used the marquees from
http://www.oscarcontrols.com/gallery01.htm and had it printed on backlit material like everyone suggested. I could not decide between the 3rd and the 4th marquee on their site so I had them both done. Only $7 each. (cant beet that). I got them both home and decided on this one.
Here is problem, when I added it to the cab it looked washed out, so I immediately assumed my light was to bright. I went to home depot to look for a softer light, but they did not have anything softer. I saw the black light on the shelf so I decided to give it a shot.
When I put in the black light I was kind of surprised of the results. Of course being the big kid that I am the first thing I did was turn off all of the lights in the room and turn on the marquee, it sort of turned the marquees a glowing shade of blue and removed the color. Although I was not completely happy with it, it was a lot better then the washed out look.
When I turned on the light in the room the marquee took on a whole different look the red solar flare in the picture became visible and the marquee started to look 3 dimensional.
This morning I came down stairs and the room was completely lit because it was daylight. The green and yellow's where now visible and the marquee looked great.
Has anyone else used a black light? And the marquee on Oscarcontrols website.
I will try to take some digital pictures of all 3 stages, when I get home. I'll add them to my site tonight.
