HWStretch question
« on: April 08, 2002, 05:47:51 pm »
I have a 3dfx Voodoo3 3500 TV AGP card. It was quite a jump up from my Creative Blaster Banshee, most noticeably in Half-Life: Counterstike and NFS4. But I want to know what I need in a future videocard so that I can HW stretch my MAME and not get excessive deformation in my graphics. You probably know what I mean - big jaggies, misshapen text, everything just looks crappy.

Ideas wanted! Thanks. This is for a year or two down the road, after I pay off my loans for IT schooling.   :P

Not sure at all.  You might want to get the latests opengl drivers for it.

the easy way to tell... run pacman at 1024x768 and hwstretching.  It should be pretty obvious there.
