  • I want to Build My Own Arcade Controls!!
Hi,

Here are the last Pics of my 1/2 Pinball Control Panel for a Mame Arcade Cabinet.

Basically I have added the capability to "load a ball in Visual Pinball (key A)"
see the new plunger under the Williams main one.

Also I can shoot a real ball and Visual Pinball can see it.

I have cut my Mata Hari playfield and added a tilt switch that prevents the machine to be lifted too high.

I have tried recently few Visual Pinball/Visual PinMame tables and you have the feeling that you play the real pinball.

Note: This Arcade cabinet have a 27 inch Color TV.

My arcade cabinet is very heavy and I really cannot be bumped. Also the it's way too wide I was not feeling comfortable to play recreated pinball made for Visual Pinball or Visual PinMame. So I have decided to make a lighter unit "The 1/2 Pinball Control Panel for a Mame Arcade Cabinet".

A friend was about to throw away a Last Action Hero pinball box. I have adapted it to suit my project:

In order to detect the front / side bumping, here is my Tilt switch:
