Anyone remember this place in NYC area?
« on: January 22, 2013, 12:05:55 am »
I have been trying to figure this one out for years.  Back in the early 90s (I'm also pretty sure that it was someplace in Queens, NY), I was invited to a birthday party at this unique video game establishment.  This wasn't a typical arcade.  The place consisted of different rooms with all of the current systems at the time hooked up. I also remember that there was another room with all of the games for each system.  For the duration of the party, we told the people working there what game we wanted to play, and at what point we wanted to switch to a new game.  I pretty much just sat there and antisocially tried out as many games as I could for 2 or 3 hours.  It was way better than those fast food restaurant parties!

I also remember that there were other rooms that were open to the public that enabled you to pay a fee in order to play on their consoles for a set period of time (as opposed to the birthday party room).  For many years, I have been trying to remember the name of this place, but nobody seems to recall.
