Trackball axis switch.
« on: November 03, 2003, 08:43:45 am »
I have my trackball working with a switch of the x-axis signals with my spinner. (thanks to OSCAR's  DPDT switch doc - thanks.)

But in windows my y-axis is switched. That is moving the ball up makes the pointer go down and down goes up.

I know it can be switched in all the MAME games from the TAB screen, but can it be switched for windows?

Would simply reversing the input signals to the hacked mouse do it or will that F*@# it up? I'm hesitant to switch them without confirmation because it finally works - mostly...

Yes, just swap your 'Y1' and 'Y2' signal cables around :)
