Donkey Kong Junior - monitor help
« on: January 12, 2013, 11:47:45 pm »
Hello, I hope you guys can help me.  I just picked up a Donkey Kong Junior today for only $50.  The cabinet is in good shape and the guys said the machine works sometimes.  I still couldn't pass it up for that price.  I get home and turn it on and picture is skewed.  It never straightens up.  It begins a slight roll after sitting for a while.  Also, it makes a blurp of noise when powered on, but no sound afterwards.   I'm already reading about the cap kits.  Is that what I need?  Or is the monitor shot?  Thanks so much and I look forward to learning a lot on here.

I'd post over in the monitor section, but I'm guessing a cap kit will fix that.
