IPAC 4 gone haywire
« on: January 12, 2013, 03:16:01 pm »
Hey guys
I am in some serious $#%& right now.  I wanted to alter one of my buttons with the ipac4 so I downloaded the winipac, after messing around with the program, I found out the I can do the ctrl+alt+p in notepad to alter a key press, so I wanted to do this.  after I got out of winipac, I discovered that all of my keys are completely different.  I tried to go into the config with ctrl+alt+p and I see no option to do the reset.  What is going on here.  If I try to do a manual reset, and tell the config in notepad to alter my 1p joystick up to the up arrow, and then hit e to save, it will not save.  I really just need this thing to be factory reset.  Can any help me with this?  I cannot see why I can't get the ipac4 back to the original settings.

Thanks

Getting back to original settings is just a matter of loading the "Default 4" IPC file into WinIPAC and programming the board with it. The default files are installed with the program, in the "templates" folder.

Thank you so much for the help.  I really appreciate it.  This worked great and now the iPac is responding fine.  Thanks again!
