Blocking Chinese Hackers

Does anyone know the range of IP addresses from China?

I had to take down my SMF forum and replace it with a phpbb as I was getting over 50K hits a day from China, and I had to delete 50K accounts...

So I am guessing someone here knows the Chinese IP address range, which I can incorporate in my htaccess file to save me some grief and admin time by denying them access.

As soon as I installed BotBuster, my problem with bogus account signups all but disappeared.

It will take me an hour or so to update with the MOD, but it is better than spending forever cleaning up bot poop.

there's also a stopforumspam.com plugin for phpbb. You can additionally crank up anti-bot registration by adding a captcha. Phpbb supports custom captchas and there are dozens of them in the phpbb mods database.
