monitor question
« on: December 24, 2012, 07:14:13 pm »
I have been using a 15" (hp L1506) monitor for my bartop. I am thinking of upgrading to a 17" (or even a 19" if I can somehow fit it).  The board I am using is an Asus M2A-VM.

I was wondering if there could potentially be any incompatibility issues if I decide to upgrade. I would assume that as long as the monitor uses VGA and supports 1024 x 768, that everything would be fine. Is this true? Should I expect to notice anything different when I am running mame or any other specific emulators? Does anyone have any recommendations for something say under $150? Thanks.

Recommendation is to get a used one. You shouldn't run into any issues.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.
