Super Ghetto Joust
« on: December 16, 2012, 09:47:18 pm »
Slapped this together this evening in an effort to get a little closer to my goal of 17 out of 17 working games in the gameroom. I am now at 15 out of 17 working. My Tron is still down and the control panel wiring harness for my Cabal restore still refuses to show itself.

Robotron cabinet that was painted over and half stripped back off. No marquee or bezel. Running a jRok multiwilliams board. Eventually this will be a true multiwilliams and not ugly, but for the time being I can play Joust on it.

Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Got my Candy Golden Axe slapped together the other day too. It definitely still needs work. The buttons are mismatched and most of the hardware that holds on the control panel seems to be missing.

I am absolutely loving Joust with leaf buttons and the original sticks. My other two multiwilliams cabinet (and my mame) all had microswitch buttons and bigger joysticks. Leaf buttons rule for Joust.
