The first table I have to read is the PlayerInfo table. With this table I should be able to push a login to your machine. Give me a day or two and I should have something for you. Do me a favor, PM me with what you want your First Name, Last Name, Short Name (Nickname), to be and I'll create the rest. You can give me a fake first, last, and nickname if you want. The first name plus first letter of the last name seems to be what gets displayed on the game.

Played a heap of courses on world tour boost can't wait till we start getting a leaderboard and ranking system going it's going to be great!!

Can't seem to find any other skill shots. Any one else had any luck?

I havent found anything...I thought they were for good play, now you are saying they are for all play. With some of my play how have I not found any of these

Yep it seems that if you do certain things good or bad on certain courses then you will unlock certain items ha ha ha. The hard part is figuring out what and where??

Question for anyone who has done the Vizio upgrade. Is there anything else that needs to be done other than to simply swap it out for the monitor. I used the "stretch" option on the TV to fill the picture. Wasn't sure if there was any video card tweaking that could be done to get a higher resolution or improve the picture in any way. I have it plugged in via the VGA input and wasn't sure if DVI would be any better. Thanks in advance for any help.

I didnt do anything other than what you mentioned...I played with the settings to get the picture how I liked it but nothing special

Hey dahupshee I haven't done the vizio upgrade but I am running a team challenge on a Pedastal unit displaying on a 42 inch approx LCD. The game displays at 800 x 600 res max I think and will automatically adjust to this res when using the VGA input.

Good morning everyone. Just finished testing and debugging player info acquisition. Got to head to work but tonight i will be uploading this new code and making the necessary database additions. Will let everybody know when it is live. This brings us 1/4 of the way to world tour leader boards and 1/2 of the way to cardless login for dahupshee. Not saying any names though :-) Talk later tonight.

Eureka, I am playing world tour. Just finished loading it and played 2 rounds at Kaplan without winning anything. I am excited now.

Forgot to mention. I will be releasing the version 0.4 patcher tonight also. This will allow Challenge machines to connect to the server. 0.3a will be replaced with 0.4 as 0.4 can detect if the game is challenge or team challenge and do the right thing. Also challenge and team challenge machines will live together as one on the server. They will not be seperated.

Was able to unlock the hat with propeller today, but what courses were you playing with the first 2 items you unlocked? I am finding it nerve racking trying to find the unlockable.

Ok so it said last call not complete and showing test tournament 2. When I select and try to play it just goes straight to the thanks for playing screen. I also then went to play world
Tour and the only scores I saw on the leaderboards were my own. Gonna try to call in again.

As for leaderboards that isnt done yet. This update gives me some of the data from you guys that i need to continue. Lots of behind the scenes work right now. If i had to guess....i think friday night you guys might see leaderboards populate. Then the competition begins.

Oh...if you guys get frustrated at finding all the unlockables, i can set them all to true for you and unlock everything. But where is the fun in that :-) Also unlockables like that seem to only be available in TC. The unlock 1 and unlock 2 fields do not exist in the challenge database on the cabinet.

I agree that finding the unlockables is part of the fun. Will it be possible to add in courses? A couple of courses that were on the PC version didn't make it into the arcade (i.e. Penguin Falls and Central Park). Do we just need to connect to server to update the leaderboards or is it a necessary part of playing world tour?

Hey Jason,

Adding courses is a future goal I would love to achieve, but that is a far out goal. A lot of things are in its way. I.E. Tournaments, WT Leaderboards, Logins without a card. Then there are the big issues that could stand in its way. Modifying the game to accept the new courses. That has its challenges. The biggest of all though would be the legality of it. Everything I am releasing and doing I am ensuring is legal. The last thing I want to do is give GVR or EA a reason to come in and shut things down. That would be a waste of hard work. Now......that isn't to say that one day you or anybody else might find a magical CD floating around on the internet that when put into your game updated it with these courses. That CD of course wouldn't have come from me :-) No reason the server couldn't support that though if one of these unicorn CD's were found one day. Future talk.

As for the leaderboards those will get updated when you call in. The server will take your play, do all the calculations, and push out the latest boards with everybody elses play. Cool because world tour is accumulative play. Plus we will finally get to see spitfire's amazing play and have something to shoot for.

Had forgotten why I took a break from this game. It frustrates me like real golf. 8 rounds and didnt unlock one item. I also remebered why I drink when I play rhis game, its frustrating. Have a bum arm and I am overcorrecting. Any excuse I can think of I am going to use.
