Hyperspin-related directions question
« on: December 07, 2012, 08:59:20 am »
I have no idea which would be the proper forum to put this in, so we'll go with Main...
I'm finishing up my directions label, and can't decide on one single instruction
In hyperspin, the moving the joystick left/right to scroll  through games by letter (ie, it jumps from A to B to C etc)
I'd love to hear opinions on what to instruct users. For the up/down (scrolling through the list of games) I have "Scroll Through Games". Left/Right I had "Jump Through Games" but that didn't sound quite logical. Ideas?

No love for previous letters?

Always moving forward.  ;D

I'd borrow from Hyperspin's Previous System/Next System and use "Jump to Prev/Next Letter"
Or just leave it off and let your guests figure it out.

This is why I limit my gamelist for guests to under 200 games.  :P

What about Search or Alphabetical Search.

+1

I use this with additions;

SKIP GAME (HOLD=SCROLL) .... for up/down

SKIP LETTER (HOLD=A-Z) ... for left/right
