XML file, Hyperspin, game lists help
« on: December 06, 2012, 02:48:18 am »
Ok a little direction from you fine folk would be great-

Im putting a pc (MAME) in my BAS cab with a J-PAC. I'm Going to use ROMlister to trim down the 8000+ games. I would like to use Hyperspin for the front end, and to also have a few game selection wheels to switch between vertical and horizontal game lists, so when I rotate the monitor I can select from the correct list/orientation.
Is this done by creating more than one XML file in ROMlister and saving it in The FE, or can hyperspin do this internally without making two separate lists.
Also if I want to add sub catogories to the vertical, horizontal wheels, for example shooter, racing etc what would be the best solution?
Also one last question, once you create an XML file does ROMlister delete unused ROMs automatically?
Any help is much appreciated.

Carlo
