X-Arcade Tankstick rear pinball buttons
« on: December 05, 2012, 10:43:21 am »
Hey guys, bought a Tankstick for my cab. Love it, and the trackball works great.... but, for some reason, the rear pinball buttons do not work at all. I ran the test program and still... no response from them. They're the only thing on the stick that do not trigger anything. Anyone else have this issue with their Tankstick?

Let me know, thanks!

They should post as the left and right mouse buttons.
They are wired to the trackball interface instead of running through the same encoder as the rest of the buttons.

Not sure what you are testing them with, but the mouse would have to be enabled in MAME for them to do anything there.

Yep, what Badmouth said.

I would go to your Windows desktop and try to use them as normal mouse buttons to see if they function there.

Thanks guys. All good. The manual basically mentions nothing of this. It simply says button "M1" (left rear) "selects game."

I wish the manual was more concise... haha.
