Best places to find "Things"?
« on: November 30, 2012, 12:44:32 pm »
Hey Guys,

As I know many of you are in the same boat as I am regarding budgets for our MAME projects, I had a question that may help out others as well.

I have just started actually building my Cab and very new to this and because of my strict budget I can't always fund the project. So I was wondering other then the "free section" is there any place else (online, stores, people, etc) that we can find the best deals on wire, tools, buttons, cords, xtra t-molding, xtra switches, etc or even free? in your opinion?

Does anyone out there have anything tips or hints they can pass along?

You can try Craigslist.
Or even trade stuff here, you'd be surprise what people are looking for around here.

Sometimes people will trash old cabs because they are damaged beyond repair, no working monitor, no working game board.   Or you can find them on craigslist for $100 or less depending on your area.  The coin door, PSU, controls, and wire harness would cost well over $100 if you bought it used from anywhere.
