hi, can anybody please show me how to connect my coin acceptor to my usb on my laptop

Do you have an encoder?

Your coin acceptor should have a microswitch.
The microswitch in the coin acceptor works the
same way as a microswitch on an arcade button
or joy stick.

If you want to connect your coin acceptor to your
pc, you will need an encoder. there are many
different kinds. Wire encoder to microswitch,
connect encoder to usb port.

I think we need a picture ... coin acceptors are typically different than coin mechs in that they use a circuit board to send a pulse. They still need to be attached to an encoder, but there is likely no microswitch.
