my arcade plans!
« on: November 20, 2012, 08:51:14 pm »
Hi! i bought a super high impact cab recently and im going to completely revamp it! The cabinet itself is in good condition. The only problems were that the side art was chipping and the t-molding is beat up ( was going to replace that anyways) and the coin door key was lost so i have to get new locks. The panel is beat up and 1 joystick is broken but i was planning to replace that too. I found some sick LED joysticks and buttons online that will make the finished project look awesome. Also, I bought a 2x8 lcd to go with the machine that runs through a program called lcdsmartie with a gameex plugin. That little thing can display the game you're playing and a bunch of other stuff! The buttons will be all led and ive already ordered the stuff mentioned above. ill upload pictures in a few minutes. :)

Those little LCDs are cool. I picked one up for my jukebox.

oh and does anyone know of a way that i can hook up an arcade monitor to a pc without a jpac? i want to get an arcadevga and an i-pac because it would be much easier for my setup but i cant find a way to make it all work together.

You answered your own question.

Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.
