Rowe 1Kwatt amp
« on: November 08, 2012, 10:50:32 pm »
Glad to be on this site thanks..I've been a tech. in the amusement industry for over 20 yrs. Had a few nervous breakdowns ha-ha... Trying to find all the schematics for a CD-100K Starglo..Why did they stop putting the schems. in with the 2 volume troubleshooting set?? I remember the 80s,90s,some 2000+ jukes had all the schems. included... Pretty nice 1000 watt amps though...
What about it Ken can you help a brother tech out??  I'll dance at your wedding... ??? :dunno

My only experience is with the conventional 250 watt cd amplifiers. Have not come across any with a 1000 watt amplifier.

Hello Vince

I know a little about the 1kw amp. Pain on the butt and hard to find. Rowe did not provide any scematics because there are very very few serviceable parts in it. I guess Rowe assumes if something goes wrong with the amp that you should just reaplce it.  Either that or they just got very lazy when it comes to the service manual.

I am currently trying to find a way to retrofit a 250 watt amp into a starglo. Not going to be pretty, but at least I will have a serviceable amo.

What seems to be your trouble?

John
