720's on ebay
« on: October 28, 2003, 02:34:39 pm »
Hey guys, check out ebay:

Home > All Categories > Collectibles > Coin-Op, Banks & Casino > Coin-Operated > Arcade

Search for 720.  Right now there are several panels, one only has 3 hours left and is at $0.99.  There is also a non-working complete game for $46 currently that I think is local to PaigeOliver.  This happens to be a game that I eventually want to one and restore to super condition.  Fortunately, repros are made of most (all?) of the graphics!

Yeah, I saw the local machine. I decided not to go for it though. The cabinet doesn't really fit in with my other games, and I just bought another pin and another mini, and wanted to have enough left over to either buy something at the auction next month, or to buy my buddies Omega Race cocktail.

Man, I am turning into Todd from TNT Amusements with all these minis. I have like 5 "short" cabinets now (although the Amazing Maze is really too wide to be considered a mini). The worst thing is that the number one thing on my wish list at the next auction is probably a Turbo mini.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I wish more games would pop up local to me, but they are rare.  It seems a fair amount pop up where you live.  I'd be willing to drive quite a distance for a 720 though, I love that game.  I'd probably rather get a working one that needs a lot of cosmetic work and fix it up (as opposed to paying roughly $400-700 for a really nice one).  Fixing up a 720 would be cake compared to the VR twin I just did.  It'd be a weekend job.  I've spent 6 weeks on the VR and it still isn't 100% finished.
