light guns and advancemame w/ w-g monitor

Does anyone happen to know if a light gun can be used with a wells gardner D9200 and advancemame?
I know some guns are designed to work with PC monitors, and I believe some are not.. etc.  Perhaps they could be made to work in VGA modes?  Also, since I'm running in dos, I don't think I could use a USB gun..
Do I have any options that meet all of those requirements?
