« on: October 25, 2003, 12:46:29 am »
Anyone whos built a cab based on the plans for lucids design, i am so confused on how everything fits toghter. I took a look at the pdf on his page of all the par, but i dont see how it all comes toghter (which piece goes where) would some one tell me how it fits or make a quick sketch of how it fits with each part labeled? Does anyone know his email adress so i can ask him myself?

Print out the pdf and paste it to some cardboard.  Then cut out the cardboard and try to make a model.  After this, I think that all confusions should be cleared up.

do you mean support frame etc? well, i didnt get that from lucids design mainly thinking it up myself and also from someone else on this forum, by looking at his work-in-progress pics.

Heres an old pic of mine from the back.

It should give you a pretty good idea of how the base works.
Warning, large pic:

Check out this thread for some more diagrams:

A back, or at least a partial back, will help keep the cabinet from racking over time.  I would suggest at least putting a partial back on the cabinet to help "complete the box" and to tie the sides together.
