Ok I will. Thanx.

Added a news blurb about PartyBox and added a link to your new forums under the "Other Forums" link at the top of the message boards here. Looks like good stuff :)  Please feel free to use the submit-news link when you have updates to the software.

The new skinmode doesn't work for me.  The skin shows up alright, but as soon as I start to flip through the albums the program more or less hangs.  The loading-indicator for the albumpictures hangs and it is no longer possible to select any album.  I can exit the program, but it responds very slowly.

works for me.

Speaking of the progress bar, I'm not sure I like it, can you make it optional? (not a high priority)

Hmm, what are your computers specs? I have yet to figure out the min requirements, but I did notice that the skins make the program run a bit slower.

Yeah I can. That was there because at first I didn't show the covers loading. So when you pressed next it would just sit there untill they were done laoding and then finally show them. People would think they didn't press the button and try pressing it again. I just never got around to taking it out yet.

I'm running the program on a PIII 700 MHz with 512 MB RAM.  Windows XP.

I am also having a problem with the skins mode
I am Running a P4 1.6 with 512MB Ram WinXP Pro
and when using the skin mode the cpu
usage goes to 100% and the program
runs real slow and choppy. I tried to change
the priority but that didn't help :'(
The jukebox works perfect without the
skin mode though.
looking forward to future updates
keep up the good work
Thanks
Rodney

I have mainly made sure that PartyBox can be used with only a keyboard. I'm not sure how well it will work with a touch screen, but you can always try it out (it's free).

can you add a "default albun art" selection for those albums where I don't have a picture for (yet)?

Kfam, I have another request:
Can you make the splash screen optional? I understand if you don't want to because you want to get the recognition for writing the progam, but in that case can you delay showing it until the program is entirely loaded?
In my cabinet I use Mamewah as a front end and it shows a "now lauching...." type of window (which you can customize as part ofthe skin), and it gets covered by the splash screen which is not very visually pleasing...

yet another request: it appears that currently you can't use the SHIFT/CTRL/ALT keys when programming the keys. Unfortunaly those are the default keys for the buttons for a mame cabinet. Also, it appears that you can't have one key associated with 2 different functions. Maybe that's needed but I wonder is some keys are mutually exclusive depending on context so that they could be defined identically by the user and still not cause useability problems.

I'll try and take a look at the forums on your web page and maybe re-popst some of these questions/requests there.

Sorry I haven't posted anything. I was sick last week and didn't feel very good. I'll respond to your posts on my forums (since you have already posted there).
