CP Dimensions Query
« on: October 15, 2003, 02:16:37 am »
Could someone please submit the control panel base dimensions for the Ultimate Arcade Cabinet II.  I am going to begin my 2 Player with Trackball CP and may work off the UAII plans in the future for my cabinet, so I would like my CP box to be large enough to sit comfortably in the UAII if that occasion was to ever arise.  What is the maximum people recommend the CP box overhangs the cabinet (not the overhanging top panel of the CP, but the actual box itself)?

I personally reccomend that the control panel doesn't overhang at all. But that is just me.

I built my original panel with a 1-1/2 inch overhang and I was concerned that was too small (I was eventually told that it was not a problem).   Though I have one of those Frankenpanels (4 players) so your need may differ.

Paigeoliver is correct though, as a lot of two player cps don't overhang at all.   At the end of the day, it's all personal preference.
