Does anyone know how to mount the SNK rotary joysticks? I have realised that I will need to use a mounting plate, but how can you take them apart to acually mount them?

My LS30s came with a special tool for popping the circle out of the top of the joystick, thus revealing an ordinary bolt for taking the knob off. Here's a picture I found with the piece of yellow plastic popped out:

I have gotten them off without the tool, but it's very difficult and I couldn't do it without scratching up joystick knobs.
You can get an L-S 30 wrench here:

I was able to pop the insert out by inserting two small allen keys (wrenches) under the handle. This pushed the two plastic tabs that hold the insert inplace.
I was going to buy the special tool but now that I know I can do it this easily I'm not going to bother.
