Can you help me find Williams Blaster PCB's?

Hi all,

I really want to ask for your help in piecing together a working set of Williams Blaster PCBs.

As I understand it there are 5 boards in total, I already have a sound board, still looking for the other 4.

Sound
Power
Interface
ROM
CPU/Video

I know these are not very common boards, but I figured if I turned to you guys to ask for your help then just maybe I can pull them all together.

I'll be deeply grateful for any help you can offer outside of the usual eBay/Craigs List channels.

If you want something to be grateful for, go to KLOV and grab up one of jrok's Williams Multigame boards (I have two and if I had room for more cabinets, I would buy more).

It will cost you far less and work far better.

Yeah I understand that but I want to do an accurate restore, I know it's irrational and less economic, but I don't think any parts of our hobby here fit very well into either of these categories.

Fair enough -- good luck. I don't expect that you'll see many of them outside of KLOV and local collector circles.

Do you have the joystick already ? Cabinet ?

I have a dedicated MultiWilliams, but my other board lives in my Joust cocktail and I would use any additional boards for a dedicated Sinistar and repro Blaster cabs.

Go to Klov, get a jrok board now and use it while you wait for your blaster boards to appear (they may never). Finding them might be very tough as the parts to most rare williams games are fiercely hoarded by people who hope to put them back together one day. The fact that there isn't even a single (crazily priced) part for this title on ebay shows how difficult the parts are to acquire.

Honestly you will probably have an easier time finding a whole machine than a boardset.

Damn....I'd have sex with anyone who'll get me one, funds are woefully short this cycle. Counterpart diverted arcade funds for emergency family ship repair as my personal craft is a cargo model. I keep telling her, I'll be more than happy to dock it semi-permanently if we get another large passenger transport but she doesn't think it's a good idea.

End result is the same, no funds until the new month.

To get one you need to get to the klov.com forums and send a message to Jrok to get on the list and hope he still has some left by the time he gets to your name. I didn't really have the arcade funds when my name came up but I bought it anyway and sold a machine the next week to cover my deficit.

I'll hold out for the PCB's, I can play the games on my Mame cab if I want to and $200 is a lot for a temp solution. A full set of verified blaster boards sold on KLOV just over a month ago for $250, so they are around.
