WTB: Widescreen CRT monitor - KY
« on: October 24, 2012, 04:10:08 pm »
I'm looking for any CRT monitor in widescreen.  The common models are the Sony FW-900 and the W900.

They look like this:

I'm still looking.  I'd probably make a pretty generous offer if you've got one.

These also come in HP, SGI, and Sun versions:

They are all over eBay. What's the difficulty? Am I missing something? :dunno

I am looking to buy from a member on this board, and more specifically potentially work out a trade deal for the monitor rather than straight cash.  I have a wide variety of items a person might be interested in.

4 years is a long time to wait for a trade from a select group of people. Contact some of the eBay sellers. Work out a deal with them. You are dealing with this backwards. You know they have what you want. They want to offload it. You want to make a deal. I traded a 1991 beat to crap Dodge minivan with 300K+ miles on it for a working Defender cab. That was to a guy asking 1800 firm for a Defender cab on eBay.
