Does anyone know that this cabinet was originally?  I picked it up from Craig's list the other day and was trying to figure out what is was before it was mamed.

The coin door style suggests a cabinet that wasn't built in America. Other than that I have no clue. The side profile looks closet to APB, but it certainly isn't one of those.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Was this near LAX by chance?  :)

Sorry, jokes among us who have been around the last couple years.  ;D

Although I half expected it to come from near LAX.
There is someone out that way who is legendary for gluing posters (and other things) on cabs:

Unfortuneatly, he's toned it down a lot since we've made fun of his work.
I wish we would have preserved more of the pics instead of just linking to them. :'(

That, and the actual listings. I think it was the Astroturf one that had "Don't Lowball me, Man!!!!1!!" in it. I love that line.  :laugh2:

All the pics in the Star Wars Pachinko thread are gone.  :banghead:

I watch his auctions.  Hasn't been anything crazy in a long time.
The poster on the front of your cab is consistent with his current level of stick-gluery.

It's subtle, like the marquee on this otherwise nice sci cab:

Now that you mention it I did find some old word files about houses for rent in the lax area along with some old family picture.   The guy I got it from is in the Air Force and was just based in Cali.  So this probably from that guy. Lol. Oh how small the world is.  Good catch.  I understand the joke now.

He probably realized that all the extra toppers and toys were costing him more money than he saw getting in.

Still can't place the cabinet shape.  The way the front of the sides curve in at the bottom is throwing me.

Also thanks for the link. It made me laugh.  I will strip down the cabinet one day and do something with it.  In the mean time I will just enjoy the mame in it.

If this cab is form that same guy, at least its nicer than those other examples.
still that multi marquee bezel is a little loud, maybe you should swap it out for some astroturf
