Message count wont clear when I read em?

HI everyone I'm Ond and I'm new here! OK no I'm not. Hey, in this new beaut, sparkly forum version my message count doesnt reset when I read my PMs, the only way I can get back to zero is delete PMs, which is pants.  Do others have this problem or is it just me??

If someone has already asked this, my apologies I wasn't wearing my glasses and the vino was going down a treat.  Also where the hel did spel chek go hmmmm?

Edit: I get it, '0 are new'. I still can't find spell check though, must be blind.
