Need some help with a Golden Tee Fore
« on: October 15, 2012, 10:28:45 pm »
Hey everyone! I'm new to working on arcade games. I've probably done more damage than good at this point! So I have a Golden Tee Fore. I could play blindly through some holes as the video card was out. I went to swap it with a used...but working ATI card. The machine was acting like it could not read the card, so I shut it off and let it sit. I saw the reset button (green board) and figured it was a simple "reset the system" button. Well now...I get no sound whatsoever. And to top it all off, the scrolling LED marquee says "Last updated 01/01/1971". I have a gut feeling that I somehow cleared my hard drive. I have tried putting the original video card back in, but get the same results. ANY help would be greatly appriciated! Or better yet...anyone in the Indy area that could lend a helping hand?!
